How do I verify the Internet address (URL)?
How do I verify the Internet address (URL)?
If the homepage of the Federal Gazette, the Company Register, or the Publication Platform is opened, please note the URL, which is displayed both in the address window of your browser and in the page properties. This must in all cases begin with “https”. The “s” stands for secure, and it ensures that your data are transmitted in encrypted form.
1. Verification of the URL in the browser’s address window
2. Verification of the URL in page properties
You can also display the address by right-clicking the mouse while in the browser window and selecting “Properties” (Internet Explorer) or "View page info" (Firefox).
The address (URL) must contain the domain of the homepage of the Federal Gazette or the homepage of the Publication Platform and read as follows:
- For the Federal Gazette:
The address begins as follows: https://www.bundesanzeiger.de/pub/ - For the Publication Platform:
https://publikations-plattform.de/sp/wexsservlet - For the Company Register:
https://www.unternehmensregister.de/ureg/
Please disconnect at once if the above information does not correspond with what is displayed and contact the Bundesanzeiger Verlag at service@bundesanzeiger.de.
